Walter Dusenbery
Walter Dusenbery In this Turkish and Peruvian travertine sculpture, the artist plays with the idea of traveling from one end of an arch to the other - but also has in mind the strange U-shaped stone belt worn in ritual pre-Columbian ball-play. The triangular mountain peak-like elements on the outside of the sculpture offer a sensual contrast with the regular and smoothly constructed interior. |
